So long story short: Steel pipe stabs me in the back of the leg, my bone stopped it, fucked up my calf muscles and after two weeks of healing i have to start regaining muscle strenght and flexibility, so that i can start walking again... never had such an injury before, so do you guys have any advice on how to handle this situation?

my advice, which I pray that you are doing, or are in the process of setting up, is to go to a Physical Therapist. You gotta be careful with that shit hombre. Plus, to, like, sever the gastroc complex would be a pretty gnarly happening...I would imagine your gonna be on rest for more than 2 weeks. if not, I would start out iwth super simple towel assisted dorsiflexion, seated heel reaises....and asssited single leg stand if you can take it. Good luck!

If you ever want full ROM back and avoid future muscle injuries, PT is what you need ASAP. It may cost $$ but when youre older do you want to be able to walk properly (bar other injuries)

Already had a check-up with my doctor, said the wound healed extremely well, but because i had internal stitches, scar tissue would form on my muscle. He said i had to do some training excercises so my muscles wouldnt become stiff but flexible. This is to avoid having to go to PT. Just wondering if any of you knew some tricks through which i could progress faster, cuz this injury stuff is fucking frustrating....
