1080 Boot Sole Length

I already posted this in the equipment forum but it seems like that one doesn't get as much traffic as the gabber forum. That being said, sorry for the repost, but I'm in a little bit of a jam.

For those of you who are sporting last years 1080 boot, I'm in need of some assistance. I just bought a pair of skis and remembered I left my boots out west at the end of last season. Really, all I need is the sole length (which I don't remember off hand) then I can find a boot in the shop with the same length to use for mounting purposes. If anyone has last years 1080 boot in a 26.0, could you check the sole length and let me know? I think it's 305, but I'm not sure.

It just has generic info about the Course/Course GT/Pro Model/and 1080. No real specific info about my particular boot or size.

so where are your boots now? A friends? That you could call and ask? Or you're getting new boots and it doesnt matter anyway?

They are at our condo out west. There's no one I could call to check, and I'm not getting new boots anytime soon. So I'm up a creek at this point unless someone has a 26.0 in last years 1080 they could check for me. I guess the worst thing that happens is I get them mounted out there when we go. (I rather not do that cause I work at a shop and can get it done for free here at home.)

well if your not getting your boots back anytime soon what does it matter if you get your skis mounted anytime soon?

Cause if I mount the skis here (at the shop I work at), I don't have to pay for it. If I wait to mount them out west, I will have to pay for it.

If I can find the sole length of my boot, I can just grab a pair of boots in the shop that have the same sole length and use those to mount the bindings. That way they are all ready for me to use when I get out there.

fair enough but you can always trade a ski tech a 12 pack to mount your skis

Let's just hope he doesn't drink it before mounting my bindings. But yeah, I know what you mean.

the sizes dont really change from year to year so it could be this years or the year before too. also, the 1080 and xwave use the exact same shell so if you can find any xwave in that size, it would work too. i wear 29.5's though, so sorry. i bet any salomon size 26 would be almost the exact same length, but this is just a guess
