Is there a good editing software that doesn't cost as much as final cut or adobe premiere? Windows Movie Maker is free, but it sucks. I was wondering if anyone used something that was a step or two up from that but but was still pretty cheap.

you could probably just get adobe premiere or final cut on the pirate bay for free, and then you wont have to compensate

Sony has some software similar to Vegas that's a lot cheaper. I know someone who uses it and he puts together some sick videos.
