Okay. I have a Mac and I am having a lot of trouble downloading music. What are some good methods if doing so? And does anyone ever download music and them use iTunes Match?

I should add that my school will automatically kick you off for 24 hours on your first offense if you torrent and ive downloaded over 50 gigs of music onto my computer.

all about that vpn. My neighbor in my dorm torrented a few movies and got a letter saying if he torrented anything else he would get kicked off the schools network forever and possibly sued.

SWIM uses a vpn, and torrented 200 gigs of data without any problem.

well like probably less than 1/4 of your fans actually take the time to "like" you on facebook. Some of the bigger local bands here have < 1000 likes on their facebook.

For college peoples scared of torrenting on campus:

Do you know your campus probably has some of the faster internet speeds in your city, if not the fastest?
You better be making use of that. For example, SWIM goes to the U of Utah, and their speeds average around 65 megabits/sec. Yes, bits, not bytes. 8 bits in a byte.

So,
Download this torrent tracker: http://www.transmissionbt.com/

In the "preferences" section, select "URL's to block.

Go to this website: http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php
and select & copy the "Educational Institutions"

And for you pussies at home that are scared of your ISP, select & copy "ISP providers" as well.

Paste these lists in to the "preferences" section of Transmission BT and you are good to go.
