i struggle with this too... the ones that i land.. i find myself really focussing on jumping up while flicking and watching the board for the grip tape to come around then just commit and put feet back on.. if that made any sense at all..
you actually want to flick down, and catch the board with your back foot. Just keep practicing and focus on your jump. Try to catch the board with your back foot, land on the bolts and ride away
Not if you actually pop. If you just pop right, you can flick your front foot, it will flip and angle down a bit instead of pointing like straight up and looking dumb. I catch with my back foot al the time.
excuse me ma'am, if anything you want to flip out, instead of up. and if you actually pop and jump like a man would, you'd have plenty of time to catch with your back foot. trust me you don't the board spinning with the nose pointed up that's no good.
just do it over and over until your body learns through trial and error what works best. Then you'll have them down as fuck. Its also easier to have atleast a little bit of speed but its up to you
