no one is comparing it to calgary.
no one is complaining about snow either. Montreal does just fine because they have designated city owned courts that the snow is shipped to and stock piled, where it can melt safely and not run of into the cities rivers and lakes. Montreal has these because they get alot of fucking snow. toronto, doesnt. so when toronto does get more snow than normal, they need help to dig it out (once). Its called urban planning and development Build things your city needs, dont build things they dont. A "montreal sized" snow storm in toronto is a big deal, because its not typical.
Everyone outside of toronto thinks torontonians are whiners. everyone outside of montreal thinks theyre dirty french frogs. people from vancouver are hippies. east coasters are incestual. etc etc etc.
every city has their completely untrue stereotypes.
When truth is, you could line up a single person from each major city in Canada and not be able to tell who is from where.
toronto gets a bad rep because its the biggest.
andddddd because the mayor smokes crack.
but at the end of the day, there is a very good reason why tens of thousands of people move into the city every year.
canada..... has wealthy people........ would you imagine that??
