idk if anyone remembers but i ran a few shredsauce competitions in the past and i was thinking about doing one but making it live to imitate a real skiing comp where you only have like 3 tries to put down a solid run.
i think i'll probably run the first few rounds like the old comps where you film your own run and post it to be voted on- but top 8 or so will have to perform live in front of all of ns.
let me elaborate- on the date of the comp i will livestream a finalist and they will drop in live and try to put down a run. I'll then move to the next finalist after the run is over and so on, simulating xgames slopestyle and giving everyone 3 runs.
the tricky part will be to get all the finalists livestreaming into one stream that everyone can watch. I figure using livestream.com (free software) each finalist can give me their livestream urls and I will switch watching between all of them while I stream it to all of you on one single url. (i'll do a test later tonight)
i wanted to run this by you guys on nsg and see if anyone can find flaws in this plan, and just to make sure a good amount of people are interested in competing/watching the final. one thing i need help with is finding a good way host a chat for viewers watching the final. we could do it on ns but constantly refreshing is a bit of a pain
