Trying a new trick

What are you thinking when your about to do a new trick? And if your nervous what do you do to try to overcome your nerves?

I find I'm scared, before and after. I think of all the worst case scenarios, then think of the probability. I then drop, and surprisingly enough, all fear is gone. I only focus on the task at hand, taking off, setting the rotation, landing the trick, or taking it to as close to my feet as possible so I don't fuck myself over.
