Helmets on water ramps

I was wondering how water ramps affect my ski helmets? Apart from a possible head on collision with water, damaging your helmet, does the water its self damage it?

i'd go with a separate helmet for water ramps if i were you.

I would say use an old helmet if you can, or get a wakeboarding helmet or something. I think the foam would get waterlogged.

Yes hitting the water will damage it. If you smack your head on the water (bubbles or not) its still quite the impact. Definitely use a water sports helmet, or an older one.
