- Color Correction was pretty good, sometimes inconsistent but overall good. Glad you didn't go overkill with it. Sometimes it was a little too blue/purple and you should have brought the brightness and contrast up as well.
- I thought that the text overlays against the blurred background were a really good choice, but you should have gone with a white text because the black blended too much
- I don't think that the cinemascopic ratio (2.35:1) was appropriate in this case because the filming wasn't that phenomenal. I'd say that that type of ratio is only useful and cinematic if the filming is equally as good. I just don't think that filming was the right type.
- Way too much slow motion
- Don't use Twixtor, it really fucks up the vibe when you get that strange ghosting around a subject from twixtor.
- Be more careful which shots you pick. You had a lot of boring filler between clips. I'd say use a few B-Roll shots (not action) to introduce the edit and then get into the skiing, but don't switch back. You can throw in a few fillers but I'd say after the edit is rolling/until the close, keep the B-Roll to a minimum.
- ARTIST CREDIT! I hate it when people don't credit the music artists when they use their music. They worked long and hard to make that song, and you take it and don't even give them credit. Make sure to put credit at the end of the edit as well as on the vimeo or youtube page.
- I think it was a little too long. You could have chopped it to at least 2:30 or 3:00 I think.
