I get that they are trying to do the small mountain thing, but shouldn't they be hitting breck/mammoth at least occasionally? Henrick can't always just stomp triples first try so they do need to train on real features a bit, and frankly if I were them, I would get bored riding shitty parks the whole time.
well that's the thing, they're not you. I don't know if you haven't caught on yet, but henrik and phil aren't really about "training". And winning competitions isn't their first priority. They did the first demo tour to give kids the chance to ski with their idols and to spread the stoke to everybody possible. They don't care if the parks they're skiing aren't up to par, they just want to spread the stoke and ski with a bunch of stoked kids.
And i completely get that. But at the same time they already spread the stoke for a year, so maybe it's time to do something else. They should put out something besides the b&e show this year (film project) because they didn't last year
the reason its on the east coast is because there are always incredible skiers out west, or at least you are close enough to a resort where you can go see some of the people who are really core to the ski community.
Back east and in the midwest, you are far away from the core scene. Its basically a tour designed to help the people on the east coast feel connected to the bigged idea of skiing. It does incredibly with that. stay on the bEAST
thats what makes them special. they have such a crazy imagination on what they can do on rails they can hit the same 2 rails all day and not get bored.
