As I was scrolling down my facebook newsfeed today I noticed a picture Nordica USA posted of the Nine Nights snow pile taken recently and it said that they were using a special foil to slow down the snowmelt so that they could have the maximum amount of snow possible for the next years setup. I'm wondering, what are your methods that you use, because I have tried all that I have at my disposal, such as tarps and excessive amounts of salt. All they do is make the snow into complete ice and it turns out to be completely unusable in the spring. Or, if someone associated with the nine knights crew could reveal what they used on their snow, it would be even better.
