Army overthrew Morsi and those Muslim Brotherhood bastards. Installed interim leader until elections can be held. Interesting to see where this will go.
I don't follow any of this at all. But wasn't it a democratically elected leader? Did he get in and then just sat at his desk masurbating; or was he fradualantly elected or something...?
He tryed to consolidate power and keep the Muslim Brotherhood(ie islamic extremests) in power for as long as possible. Also is considered by many to be a US puppet president. The dude had a year in office and pretty much did everything wrong. Elected or not.....when you try to become another dictator the people are not gonna go for it.
I think its hilarious that through all of their problems, they still can't accept the fact that its their own riotous and unruly people that are causing the deaths of their citizens over there. The Middle East are too fucking used to using the United States as a scapegoat because they can't come to terms with the fact they are barbarous and kill their own.
Too fucking easy to just blame the US for all their problems because they can't learn to elect and construct a stable government without mass deaths from their own politicians.
The people elected him after their last corrupt leader, he promised them transparency and fair democratic government, the people pretty much told him "alright if you don't hold up to your word we will revolt" and that's what we have going on here
But don't you think that if the United States didn't involve itself with these countries in the first place there would be no reason for these countries to hate us?
You don't see these countries burning Canadian or Mexican flags...
Your just plain wrong. The states are only in the Middle East for their "interests". Such as oil, mining, and helping out Israel. Forget democracy..... they just want someone who will jump when they say so. It's the same for Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
This area has been the most contested/manipulated area since the Romans were occupying the area ( and possibly before, but that is all that comes to mind right now). You want the war on terror to end, get out of the sandbox. Plain and simple. Let them sort out their own problems. Democracy is a process, and people will come to it eventually....you just have to not interfere and give it time.
