Why does everyone and their grandmother have a go pro? Whenever i see one i automatically think that they are a total noob at whatever theyre doing, and the sad thing is im usually correct in assuming that. No one wants to see your shitty videos. Fuck you GoPro.

If I could've chosen between my GoPro 3 black and my current camera I use for filming I'd choose the regular camera for sure. I will admit GoPro's are not useful for pretty much any type of REAL action filming other than POV shots. Although the GP3 black does shoot 120 FPS, it's not very useful because the angle that it shoots at is so wide, it's almost useless to shoot any cinematic scene. Plus the battery sucks ass.

Gopro's sales have doubled every year since they started. They sold 2.2 million Gopro's last year alone. The founder/owner is one of the youngest billionaires in the U.S. at age 35 or something.

I think you're missing the point of the gopro if you were trying to shoot cinematic scenes with it. Go watch a USC ski team edit and you can see that the gopro has a ton of potential

One of the problems with the people that use gopros is that so many kids try to imitate Abe Kislevitz by oversaturating/brightening everything and setting their edits to techno all the time. It's a fine camera, just so many kooks have demolished its rep
