In small towns it happens all the time, and it's totally fine. I mean, just because you had a relationship with someone at some point in the past doesn't mean you own them, like, at all.

I had a girlfriend back in high school, we had fun, we went our ways, and a few months later one of my best friends asked me if it was ok if they could date. Of course, I said yes - they are now married, and might have never met if we didn`t go out in the first place. Life is bigger than your ego.

I mean there is a huge difference in a one night stand and dating said friend's ex...

I would say even a one night stand right after they broke up would be a very shitty move, but maybe a month or 2 out that would be okay imo.

But in terms of actually dating the girl, it all comes down to if the couple are actually over each other and have moved on. If that is the case, then sure no worries no one cares. But rarely is a breakup ever "mutual" def could take awhile (6+ months) for both parties to be chill and moved on. Can't hurt to talk about it.

I couldn't seriously date a chick who had sex with one of my friends before. I know it's in the past and all, but thinking my friend fucked my girl would just drive me mad, even if it was 10 years ago.

I know I shouldn't be jealous of shit that happened in the past, it doesn't make any fucking sense, but I can't help it, I've tried.
That's why I try to date chicks from outside my circle of acquaintances, that way I don't know any of their previous partners, and then it's all good in the hood.

But if it's just for a one night stand, it doesn't matter though, I'm definitely eskimo brother with pretty much every single one of my best friends.

Honestly, Its rough either way. I don't want a dude dating an ex if I was really close to her, and if it ended recently - especially if I'm not over it. I'd expect the same the other way too.

That said, eventually you just gotta get over that shit. I went on a date with one of my friends ex girlfriends... who was 3 ex girlfriends prior to his, at that time, current girlfriend. They dated for like 5 months or something and he was a dick so she ended it. He was SO pissed when he found out we went on a date, that he dramaqueened out and put off our friendship over it.

We didn't even kiss. Much less fuck. Much less pee in each others' butts.

This right here is my case. I usually can't get over it if one of my friends has already fucked a chick. Even a one night stand with someone that has fucked one of my friends is a bit iffy in my book. I know quite a few girls that I would have boned had it not been that they had previously had sex with guys in our friendgroup. I tend to date girls that barely know any of my friends.

When I was younger it seemed like every time I would break up with a girl, one of my friends would swoop in for the kill. It never really bothered me. Dipping my toes in this water right meow actually. Her ex really isn't a friend though, more of a familiar face from town but I know the kid. Good thing we're not close though as they have two kids together and were married for 8 years. I'm definitely not trying to date her or anything though, it's a mutual "just fun" agreement.
