Im having a tough decision deciding what ski I want. Both seem to have the amount of flex I want, which is a good amount of flex, but I also need a ski that can take a beating because Rhode Island skiing beats the shit out of skis. Which one is better?
x2 on the domains here. Rode them last season. Thay are still in great shape, the only real damage is 2 edge cracks. Plan on riding them hard next season too. Super fun skis with a great flex pattern. I however can't speak for the TC's. I have never ridden them.
I had just broken a pair of domains, really they were the best ski that i had ever had since they make surface swaps and butters so easy. The down side was that they had broken in like 15 days but i think that was a defect and i hope to get that warranted. I had broken them at camp and my coach had hooked me up with some tc's, Honestly they are both quite similar. Both soft and buttery but the tc's have full camber and the domains have no camber. The tc's are more poppy while the domains are a little stiffer. Which ever way you go you will love both of these skis as i did!!!!
You do realize that k2 owns line.....and they are made in the exact same factory.....but to contribute to the thread....my domains have withstood 3months of skiing with only 1 minor edge crack. Which is good as gold in my book.
