My first wedding video

I didnt think it was bad at all, esoecially for a 1st wedding shoot. The only thing that i really didnt like was that first timelapse of the clouds, i wouldnt have included that at all. Also that opening marquette sign shot was bland as well.

Not bad! The biggest thing is it's lacking clean audio and static shots. Bring the viewer into the scenes a bit more. I love the shot of the wide river, bay, ocean whatever it is in the beginning, but have a cut away shot that shows the water up close.

When filming weddings, focus on say the brides makeup. Use a monopod and think of it in a 360 degree view. Grab angles that complement one another and that you can match up well.

Figure out a story line for the film, using key parts from the audio (ceremony, vows, toasts, letters, etc).

Sorry but I have to agree with this. The shots are nice but it is definitely lacking in feeling, It all seemed pretty bland.

Their jokes were horrible. No seriously horrible!

I kinda agree with some of the posts above me in that it was almost "lacking emotion." seems like you did a good job covering the event but not really putting your own touch into it. also wasn't a fan of the colors. a little color grading is key in these types of videos i think and that could really help a lot as well.
