The bad thing about good video games

I just finished the story for FarCry3 and the ending was so good and so dramatic and now I'm sad and I just want to lay down and maybe die a little bit because its over. Is there a game that has ever made you feel this way? Or just tell me your top 5 video games

Oh and if there was already a thread about this I apologize for being to lazy to search bar it

I've felt this way after reading good books, or watching good movies. Not into video games but I'm sure the feeling is the same. Just remind yourself its a video juego and you will be fine.

Mass Effect 1/2. KOTOR's, too. Coincidence? Nah, b. Sort of felt that way with the Arkham's too.

I get this a lot more from books, though.

I finished Super Mario and had no idea what to do with myself. I spent weeks running through petstores just smashing turtles beneath my feet. Constantly getting kicked out of mini putt and Toys R Us for sprinting into castles. Even broke a few bones from trying to jump off of school roofs and grab the top of the flag pole. It was around the time the coast guard dragged me into a boat about 3km off shore as I was searching for squid to dodge that I realized I needed to put an end to all this. So about 3 and a half years of rehab and I'm doing ok.

Kinda happened to me in Fallout 3. Never finished it, I just knew it was the end of the game so I went to my last save and did all the side mission junk and found easter eggs etc. Eventually I got bored after logging a few hundred hours on it.

I'm not much of a gamer but when I finish a game I'm usually to the point of, "Oh my God that took forever..."

I get the feeling your taking about though when I read books, like at the end of TLOTR I was pretty bummed it was over.

far cry 3 had two different endings......besides what you describe as bad, I would deem as good. 
Semi-off topic: Far cry 3 was/is incredibly over hyped best I can think of giving it is a 6.5/10

I had that for far cry 3 aswell. i did all the outposts, so there are no enemies anymore.

they should make a mode where all the outposts are hostile again just so its more fun to fuck around.

Yeah, I know. But the way that GRRM writes, it'll be 2015 before book 6 hits the market & 2020 before the series concludes with book 7...and this is assuming that he doesn't have a heart attack or something between now and then.

Tiny Tina BL2 DLC was rather sad at the end. Harry Potter, LOTR (Books and movies), Entourage (no more Sloan!), Halo series will be sad when it ends with Master Chief, GoT even though it isnt over, and most of all, MARLEY AND ME!
