windells is in reality $1700-1800 if you take 2 flights and go a ski and snowboard only session compared to probably $1300 and windells has such a better camp
you get more hill time at windells, windells has 6 days of skiing and mhssc has 6, also no tow ropes, a way smaller park that you have to hike. also you are up at the mhssc park for a much shorter time during the day. plus the park is way better.
exactly that's what it comes down to more laps and more time on snow and more features, I could care less about the skate park and tramps and dry courses I'm there to progress in skiing (although I'd be lying if I said they weren't fringe benefits)
While MHSSC does have its benefits I can't see it being better than Windells for someone who wants to ski as much as possible (if we're talking about going to 1 session) and progress. You have at least double the amount of features to hit at Windells and you can lap the chair or use the rope tows. If you are a motivated and focused skier you are going to improve by leaps and bounds at Windells.
Yes its true that not all the coaches are going to hold your hand and do all the work for you. You're going to get out of Windells exactly what you put in. The coaches are for the most part just normal dudes who want to ski a lot in the summer. If they see you sitting around, complaining and not putting effort in its going to discourage them from helping you because you are wasting an incredible opportunity. But if you're out there everyday from bell to bell in the lane pushing yourself and trying to improve its going to get your coached hyped on you and you will have the best week of your life guaranteed.
