Ahhh true, however I could tell the guy was sus but yeah I also couldve easily gone through TSA with piff cause they ain't gettin paid, plus if you have a backpack of clothes it really doesn't pick up anything, I had fluids and a vial of tincture in my bag recently and just carried on

Got in a fluke ski accident friday and broke ten ribs so im in the hospital and will be for sometime but the good news is I get oxycontin and oxycodone and iv dilaudid. Probably a little off topic but pretty happy about the RX situation.

Appreciate the concern but I ve been on pain management before and only take as prescribed. Iv dilaudid only while in the hospital. They taper me off it not an issue.

Vaped a bunch of dry herb and then decided it would be a good idea to eat it. Life is full of great decisions. Went to dinner. Had some drinks. Then the 2-3hr mark rolls around. Baked out of my mind. Then my friend goes "hey wanna hit this weed pen?" Sure! My intoxicated self says..... Lights out. I'm pretty sure my brain was doing flips in my head I was so dizzy. Very difficult to keep composed enough to function at the most basic primal level. At one point I remember the Uber driver ask if I was OK. Dude you're playing reggae and I'm trying to chill Lmao.

10/10 do not recommend.

Yeah it’s weird, it’s legal to have recreationaly but illegal to buy from some random person. I think you have to have it gifted to you or you grow your own technically but everyone just gets it from someone with a med card or who grows. They were supposed to start opening Rec dispensaries this year but covid kind of stopped that I think

You've precisely hit the nail on the head. Maine voted to recreationalize a few year ago (2016) but the process has been delayed for a number of reasons...1) the vote BARELY passed (by less than 1%) so we had to deal with months of "recount" bullshit. I dont want to get too political but then once the recount was approved it still got held up by ...certain party members of the state government who were still against it. 3) a bunch of shady/intentionally delayed shit happened with the cannabis control commission and then 4) shops were finally supposed to start opening this year when covid hit.

It blows my mind that the entire country of Canada voted to legalize and shops were opening up weeks later, and in Maine, its been legit four years and still nothing....

This is exactly why the black market still dominates in most states besides CA/WA/OR/CO. Same bs here in ohio pretty much. They finally got some stores up and running after years but the prices and quality are so out of line that almost nobody uses them here.

I made an epic birdie on a par 3 last friday. Hit a 4 iron from the furthest tees, landed it 6 feet from the hole. I was playing alone, was stoned as fuuuuck, and was literally shaking when I stepped to the putt from the nerves. I shook it off and drained that motherfucker. Stoned Golf 1, Sober Golf 0

Hell yeah... first time I stopped at a Mass dispensary was in Turner Falls on the way back from Stratton this winter.

Went to "253 Farmacy" and it was some of the best I've ever had in my life.

Fuck yeah dude! Whenever I get stoned and try to golf I eventually gotta call it quits especially if I’ve been drinking all day. My focus goes down the drain and all I can think about is going to the shop and getting a burger.

So has it sort of been just decriminalized for the past 4 years since there hasn’t been no progress and the building of dispensaries?

Also how have they enforced the fact that you can’t buy weed but you can be “gifted” it? It seems like that’s next to impossible to enforce or you might as well question every person that has weed in their possession because there is really no way of actually knowing who and where they got it from.

*disclaimer - this just my basic simple-man understanding of everything*

It was already decriminalized before the 2016 vote (which means its only a ticketable offense, not something you'd be prosecuted for.) Most states seem to have the ability to decriminalize within their legislature but full legalization for sale requires a public vote. (Again, not actually sure why here.) In Maine, the 2016 vote made it legal to purchase cannabis for recreational use.

Right now, we're in sort of a gray area where it's legal to buy, there's just nowhere approved to actually sell it legally. (I.e when the vote was passed, it doesn't mean your neighborhood dealer is suddenly doing a legal business.)

These things are hyper-controlled which is why states setup Cannabis Control Committees (or other groups) to oversee every aspect of the operation - from planting to use. The whole "gifting" thing is what most states do in the interim when they're waiting to setup the infrastructure for legal-recreational sale. For example in Massachusetts there was a really popular site where you'd buy "juice" from this company called HighSpeed and with your 8oz 16oz or 32oz juice purchase, you just "happened" to get a gift of weed.

Essentially, states have to setup/approve the whole infrastructure to get it running where they can control every aspect from planting to sale. Most states seem to be able to do this in 1-2 years (Mass passed their legalization bill in the same election as Maine and dispensaries opened in ~2018) it's just Maine thats dragging this whole process out.

I love 253, they did a great job with online orders and curbside pickup thru all the covid bullshit. 253 grows some fire flower and pretty exotic strains, but they sell out of the real good stuff pretty quickly, and I always wish it were cheaper
Also these guys called Heirloom Collective in MA have been growing some serious fire, and its packaged real nicely. Patriot Care in Greenfield carries HC, plus HC has their own dispensary in hadley or some shit

It def helped to be playing solo and not drinking, plus I brought plenty of snacks. I was determined to just enjoy myself and ended up playing one of my best rounds of golf ever, even though I was so baked I could barely walk straight hehe

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while, what do you feel different? I feel my biggest problem is spacing out too much. I actually feel like I save money on wax because I would go through regular weed so much faster so I’m still up in the air about it all

For me the mental fog is way heavier when I am dabbing daily vs just smoking flower daily. At my worst I used to dab a gram a day, I felt insane

Wax seems appealing because it is indeed cheaper, but if you lack self control it can quickly bite you in the ass with tolerance

Yup that’s where I’m at, my tolerance is through the roof so it doesn’t seem worth it to go back to flower rn, maybe I’ll take a break then go back to it who knows

Made a trip to hit up a dispensary and got some Inzane in the Membrane, Kandy Kush, and Supermax OG. I haven't smoked in five months and have basically no tolerance. Really looking forward to doing some hikes while getting stoned as heck.

I was off about 7mg of edibles last night and these ones were hitting a little harder than usual and I kind of started to feel myself freaking out, I could feel where the panicked feeling was coming from and then I started breathing into that area and I could feel myself calming down, then my GF's dog seemed to know what was going on and got real close to me and let me pet her, its crazy how good of an anxiety tool that weed is, it helps you realize that feelings and anxieties come in waves and nothing is ever very permanent
