So you can make $ with your youtube videos

IF

you dont use someone elses music who has settings that will either :

Block your video completely

Blocked in some countries

Veto your AdWords revenue (and siphon it to their acct)

or Block it on Phones .



I finally uploaded a version of my ski video that can be seen on phones and I can make $ off of it

You contact the artists/labels. You can't just "buy" a license for a song on the internet.

That being said, there are services that you can pay for a library of music that is legal to use.

I'm up to like 9 bucks now, mainly thanks to a video that I made about the Duluth flood last year that got like 2000 views. You don't need many views, you need a lot of people to click on the ads. Eventually I'll probably cancel my Adsense to cash out, I doubt I'll ever hit $100 to cash out otherwise.

They sent me an email saying that it was enabled on my account, it shows up under my settings now. I don't remember exactly what setup was like, but I remember that it was a clusterfuck for me because my Youtube is linked to my University Gmail, and I couldn't use AdSense with that account to I had to make a regular Gmail.

I dont want a Library - I want the Song I was using as a skeleton to make my Ski Movie on top of.    I need the rights to that EXACt set - and since its a DJ, I have to write like 5 DJS , and they never write back.   Its retarted.

your total views need to be a certain # i think. all i know is i got the message from them after a while, not right away, i know there are requirements to be eligible. i make guitar covers though so it's pretty much useless for me considering all my videos have different songs. my total views are around 70k which isn't a lot at all.
