Does anyone know a good website/store to sell rare baseball cards to? I was cleaning out my cabinets and I found a bunch of Barry Bonds cards in good condition ranging from the years '89-'92, a Derek Jeter rookie card, an Alex Rodriguez card with part of his game-used bat on it, and a bunch of other cards from around the late 80's to 90's. I'm trying to find the worth of all of these.
Not much of a market unfortunately. I have thousands of cards and stuff that I have collected but realize the resale value is impossible to confirm.
You can try going to a local sportscard shop but you'll get like 40-50% of Becketts catalog price. You can try on ebay but cards go on there for fucking pennies on the dollar. Kind of sickening.
If you're in New York, I guess you could try Cooperstown or something too because when I visited there were a lot of shops that were also buying from people bringing cards in. Last resort, try going to a baseball card trade show. Pretty rare but you'll find guys in stalls that will grade your cards and give you an offer.
Cheers
no idea the only thing i could think of is finding a local card shop or one online that would pay good money for the cards i have books of oldies cause my dads grandfather left them for me and they are in perfect condition.
The market will never come back I am afraid to say. I have some pretty incredible cards. I have a hank aaron rookie card that is probably worth a pretty chunk of money even today but I think I'm just gonna keep them and give them to my grandson at some point.
