Fkn awesome night last night. The kayak trip was pretty lackluster with it being so unbelievably windy, but when I went back out on my buddy's boat afterwards we killed it. Nothing big but just constantly boating 2-3lb'ers for the two hours or so that we got out for. The wind died down and it was a gorgeous night to be out on the water sippin' and rippin'. Hell yeah.
Sorry for the crap pic. No idea how much it weighed but it was an absolute pig. Straightened my trokar and would have gotten away if it wasn't double hooked through the lip. I got super lucky.

Here you guys are catching pigs and I havent fished in almost 2 weeks. I had my boat all taken apart to install that new graph, got halfway done and there were missing parts..... I just finally got it done two days ago so I went out to fish yesterday and as im driving my boat dies. Now it wont even turn over so I had to troll in and go home. Battery is fully charged and fuses are good, lookin like im gonna be droppin a bunch more money into my boat now. Just when I thought I was done

Thanks man! Trust me- Not only did I get a SMOKIN' deal on that rod used but it also came with a wildcard warranty for a single no-questions-asked full replacement too. I freakin' love that combo so much. The rod is like a fkn feather but soooooooo stupid fast and strong.
Bummer about the boat though, it sucks to be grounded with mystery issues! They really are holes in the water you have to fill with money to make go. She sure is pretty tho- and don't worry mate, she just needs some TLC and will be right back in it. Probably just needs a starter. Still though- just wait until you switch on that sicknasty lake MRI scanner! It will be totally worth it, and you KNOW you're going to boat a fkn submarine to celebrate your return!

Yeah I don't want to speculate but it was by far the biggest bass I've ever caught. Kind of wish I had a scale but I really don't care tbh. Just glad to have caught it on such a nice day and taken a pic to feed the stoke. That's plenty for me.

Yeah I gotchya. I only weigh my big ones because my dad/ my friends wouldnt believe me lol... And mine was almost 7 pounds (6-14) ... And yours looks pretty similar in size.. We both slayed northeast swamp donkeys yesterday lol
So it turns out im just a fuckin moron and forgot to check the fuses in the engine. Fuse was busted, replaced it and everything works. Holy dodged a bullet there. Still need to buy a new battery but im beyond relieved right now

After that I saw a ton of fish but just couldnt get em to bite. My guess is due to the huge front that moved in last night but who knows. Got some cool screenshots though!

It definitely takes some practice to interpret them. The brown one is side imaging, thats the hardest to figure out. The middle line out to the bottom is basically right below you. Everything out to the left and right of you by the amount of feet shown below. The blue is down imaging and thats fairly easy, just a picture of whats directly below you

I just cant believe thered be 2 sunken boats right next to each other. I knew those were there before though and fished them all the time, cant tell you how many drop shits ive lost on that fucker. But its also the esact spot I caught my 7.2 lber.
Ill definitely post more screenshots though. I know I can get the picture dialed in more too. Some screenshots ive seen are crystal fuckin clear
I already miss it again. Can't wait to go back! The best part about the PPond side is that it's all like that. Every inlet, cove and extension is total bass heaven... Just bring your heavy cover game. The spaced pads sections in that pic were ~6-8ft deep underneath too so they were holding some absolute donkeys. Topwater frogs and mice were the call of the day, nothing smaller was getting hit. In other words it was a fucking blast. So many explosions and full breaches... I love froggin'. I can't imagine how well one could do with a trolling motor and Hugo's all seeing eye electronic unit, as all my deep stuff didn't get shit- Way too big of a place to just wing it in the deeper water.
Also yet again fuck crowders and fuck yeah to catching fish right in their face while they get skunked.

AFter my poor tourney performance on sunday i decided to take a break from bass fishing last night and went musky fishing. We didnt get one but got 2 follows and around 11pm one jumped clear out of the water at my bait on my figure 8 right at the side of the boat. In near pitch black darkness it scared the absolute shit out of me and I about had a heart attack and almost fell in the water hahaha.
I hate getting scared by a splash haha... Makes me feel like such a girl.
Well, I'm still doing damn good up here in MA. The moderate to heavy cover is still where it's at around here. Missed a pic of the best catch though- tore my thumb to fuck in the process of bucking free while I was trying to turn on my camera phone. That's what I get!!
Pre-ordered the Fenwick Elite tech bass rod in 7' 5" Heavy Extra Fast, then bought a Quantum Energy PT reel in 7.0:1. The rod was originally spose to be in stock july 23 at TW, but now it says august 8. Hopefully that doesnt keep getting pushed back. Also hope not having an exposed reel seat on the bottom doesnt bother me. I like having direct contact with the blank, so I may have to modify that a little bit. The eva grips on the reel are so comfy, easily the best grips made, dont know why more brands dont do this

Also thanks! Those glasses are my scratched to fuck & hanging by a thread cheapo WalMart Rx polarized ones from like 4 years ago haha. I love them. I was just talking to Milfy yesterday about how bad I want to get a pair of Rx Smiths to replace them since they're so beat now, but can't believe how well those have held up as my go to work safety and beater glasses considering they were so cheap. Many a rock or wood chip to the eyeball has been averted during their tenure and I got them specifically as a pair of throwaways. Who knew?!

Huck if you get smiths dont cheap out, get the Chromapop lenses. These things are unreal, its like putting on hd glasses. MY dad has regular polarized smiths and those are like $10 fleet farm shades compared to the chromapop

Went out suuuper early this morning, on the water at 445am and fuckin hammered em. Got on a school out deep and didnt go without a fish for more than 5 casts and that lasted about 30 min. I fuckin looooove deep crankin when you get on schools. Then changed spots and hooked into what I thought was a big northern because it was headshaking HARD and it hit my crankbait like a fuckin freight train. So i wasnt paying much attention, just reelin it in and the fucker came up to jump without me noticing...... and thats how i lost my biggest bass of the year.... easy 5lber. I just about threw my rod in the water. First fish ive lost all year and it was a fucking monster.
Good thing is I brought out the gopro and wore it on my head so I captured a ton of action when i was pounding em.
