So i have been doing hours of research trying to find my next lens. I want something with character and a unique look. So i stumbled apon old Russian lomo lenses. Verry inexpensive about a 100-200. But they require a 300 dallar adapter to get on my gh3. My question to you is have any of you used or know any one that have used these lenses? I have seem some samples and they seem real nice.
Strange thats not at all what i have read. Have used them personally? I went ahead and bought an old russian cine lens. If it sucks oh well at least i know what not to send. If its great i will be stoked!
Lenses sold under de Helois, Mir and Jupiter name are all 'real' Russian and have produced great lenses. Carl Zeiss Jena (CZJ) and Meyer-Gorlitz are both German companies that were part of the DDR, so more German lenses sold under Soviet regime, are GREAT lenses.
