I was just at my local store and I started to look around. I realized that I was the only skinny person there. Everywhere I looked people obese or overly obese it kinda made me sick. There is my rant of the day.

I'm much more concerned that, of all the awful things that people do to each other everyday, seeing fat people is what makes you ask what is wrong with humanity. Compared to how materialistic and concerned with image you and so many people in the world are becoming, obesity is a small, small problem.

Not exactly. More and more people file for being medically obese every day. Which means working people like us get 1/3 of our pay check taken away so they can eat even more and watch TV.

It takes like 10 minutes when you get stuck behind them in the drive-thru because they ordered 13 chalupas, 9 quesadillas, and 37 soft tacos at Taco Bell. Fat bastards.

I could list endless reasons, but fat people are a burden to society and are increasingly becoming a serious problem. Wake the fuck up.

sitting next to a fat person is fairly low on my "give a fuck meter"....I have much worse problems than that.  Maybe you just need to learn some tolerance

Hahaha fuck people like you. It goes far beyond "tolerance" when I'm sitting on a 4 hour flight and my seat neighbor, who should have been required to purchase two tickets, is overflowing from their seat into mine. Nobody should have to put up with sweaty, fat, skin rolls bulging onto their arm and leg because the fat fuck who could barely fit through the metal detector didn't want to pay more. Not to mention the awful stench that comes along with people like that. They're so fat they can't properly wash themselves anymore, so they just don't, then they think that you're a bad person when you wrinkle your nose and try to scoot over into the final 1/4 of your seat that you have left. Fuck your tolerance.

Its not about the little things. Its about the large amount of money this country (USA) is using to take care of these obese people. They can make some sort of excuse up about why they are obese and the government just hands them cash. OUR cash that WE work hard for, and what do they do? Sit on their ass and have it handed to them. So sorry that some of us arent as tolerant as you for caring a little bit about where society is headed.

There are WAY WORSE things about humanity than a few fat people.

Morbidly obese people are fucked really (inb4 eheath is fat) they either get a really expensive surgery or else they cant even walk.

I hate when skinny people go "why dont they just go work out? thats all they have to do" wrong. Some people have very, VERY slow metabolisms and they literally cant burn fat or they may have another physically problem that makes it so they cant exercise.

I know I don't fall into this category of these huge fat people you hate, im decently active and i don't eat fast food every day and i dont play video games all day, hell i golf all summer and ski all winter. Am i skinny? no but even if i starved myself and worked out every day for 4 hours my frame isn't made to be a small person, my body isn't any wider than my bones...

Sorry, i just hate when people "hate" fat people and think they can "just go out and do something" and they'll be skinny. Skinny people are skinny for a reason and overweight people are overweight for a reason, it all depends on how your body functions and how you are built and its so fucking ignorant to say "why dont they just go out and do something" fuck you skinny pieces of shit.

haha so you enjoy people sweating on you as they take up half of your seat as well as their own? enjoy people snoring keeping you awake? what about when they need the toilet and press they're entire body into you as they struggle to make i to the aisle? try a long haul flight. I am tolerant but that is pretty fucking disgusting. And you're suffering this because of their lifestyle choices.

To be honest, I don't find them to be a problem, nor do they bother me in my every day life, but when I am forced into situations like that it makes me realize how much I despise the obese and lazy. I suppose I have also developed a pretty significant bias from seeing these types of people every day in the hospital. they are disgusting.

To Eheath: I see where you are coming from, and those are not the kind of people who bother me. It's the people who just blatantly disregard any sort of hygiene, well-being, or health, then judge people for having a negative opinion of them. The kind of fat people who will elbow you out of the way when you fight for position in your own goddamn space to begin with, then tell you to show respect, or the girl on Facebook who posts shit about how she's proud of her body, but eats 14 Big Macs per week. Blegh.

Yeah but thats not just "fat" people, there are a shit ton of other people who disregard hygiene, well-being or health they just dont show it because they're skinny, except they smell maybe. I have a buddy who ate fast food like every day for a year, hes lazy and didnt do anything but play video games and go to work, but hes skinny, does he suck? just because someone is fat doesn't automatically make them a bad person, im not saying you're saying that but i just hate when skinny people hate fat people because theyre automatically lazy and worthless.

I'm actually from the uk where we have a national health service, so obesity is a major issue on par with smoking, and if you don't think we're tolerant take a look at our immigration policy over the past 15 or so years.

Yes. I supposed I jumped the gun with the generalization of fat people, when really I should have just said I dislike people that are lazy and don't even attempt to improve their health. A good amount of them end up overweight/obese, so it's unfortunately a connection that I and many others make without giving the person a chance. What can I say?

Well I dont personally know because I dont associate myself with. But the town I live in has many of them, as do most towns in ny. and if you want you can look up statistics, not really sure how true they will be. And its not just the fat people now, its the people who say they cant work so they get a free ride.

haha if you think the overweight only impact the welfare system you might as well be sixteen. An example: the affect on public transport system, quite simply how many less overweight people can you fit onto a bus than people of a healthy weight? Bigger people means bigger seats, bigger seats cost more money. Bigger people weigh more, greater weight equals greater fuel consumption. Overweight people, generalisation, take longer to get on and off the bus, less time-efficient system.
