Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.
Fuck LA.

ZimmermanYupp, they came out firing but after the first they just had this shitty combination of sloppiness and trying too hard to get the perfect shot op.
Barefootin_FiendFuck the refs. How many bullshit handouts are they going to give LA this post season? Any other team and that gets called.
Fuck LA, too.
DavinLol Kreider on price and that appeal on carcillo. Don't talk about handouts
no_steezeWell that was a fun game to watch. Couple bullshit calls favoring LA but they made for a much more intense game so I'm not complaining
hey-dude-its-methats basically the attitude barry merlrose had which seemed really strange. eh so the wrong team just won a championship game what are you gonna do, great game... makes no sense
hey-dude-its-meHahah ppl down voted this? U guys are like hardcore Christians just keep defending regardless of what happens. Like u know nobody else cares so u have to care too much make up for it.
Kekambas.i didn't down vote that, but why do you care so much about getting down voted? it seems like you have to complain about it a lot. I'll up vote it if it makes you feel better.
but anyways...i wish Nash was still as sick as he was on CBJ. He used to be the man.

ZimmermanThe Rangers won that game in 4-3 in regulation. Fuck man.
-emile-no , the Kings won that game 5-4 in overtime.
b-kulmy bet is the rangers take the next two at home. for the most part they have been playing great, just not much love from the hockey gods.
-emile-If all goes as planned with NHL Competition Committee (today)/NHL GMs (Wed), Coach's Challenge is likely to be instituted next year, but...— Bob McKenzie (@TSNBobMcKenzie) June 9, 2014
Xanadoodear god i hope so. ive been too depressed to come on here for the last couple days. rangers could easily be up 2-0 instead of down 2-0 in this series. theyre giving me a fucking ulcer.
the hockey gods have been real rough on them so far. although they havent helped with the way theyve played in the third. theyve been so god awful terrible in the third. i think theyve actually outplayed the kings in all the ot periods though. still ended up losing both games... hopefully a few lucky bounces and calls will go our way for the next couple and we'll stop taking the third period off
thats great news. really needs to happen. although itll be interesting to see if plays like the kings third goal are even reviewable. my bet is they wont be.
that play was clearly goalie interference when you watch the replay but i can totally see how a ref watching it in real time would think that McDonagh pushed King into Lundqvist. when stuff like that happens you just have to lock down even harder and focus that much more to get it back and not worry about it becasue theres nothing you can do. the rangers didnt do that, gaborik tied it and they lost. cant blame the refs for gaborik or browns goals.
b-kul^what will be subject to a challenge?
MaryOThe Wild could've put up a better fight in this final series! I can't wait til next Oct! I miss my MN Wild!! Go Kings. Go Gabby get that Cup!
Barefootin_FiendYou're smoking crack. no way the wild would stand a chance against the kings. you HAVE to be able to score goals to beat the kings and we all know the wild can't score for shit. LA has scored 4+ goals per game in almost every game since the start of the conference finals. The Wild STRUGGLE to put 2 in the net.
They'd get fucking SMOKED by LA.
And on that note, fuck LA. shame that such a good hockey team is wasted on that joke of a fan base.
MaryOWell the Wild did beat the Kings 2 of the 3 times we faced them in regular season, the first game we won 6-2 in fact. But true, we did struggle finding the net, especially in the playoffs. So many lost opportunities it was frustrating, but so it goes. Then there's our goalie situation during playoffs. I'm proud of the Wild for as far as they got considering they barely made it into the playoffs.
Coach Yeo and the team grew a lot and gained confidence just during playoffs. They battled hard. I'm excited for where they'll take it next year, with lots of young talent with great potential. We just picked up another young forward, free agent Michael Keranen, from Finland's elite league. The future is in our young guns, and I'm looking forward to a bright future. Hopefully Mikael stays injury free (head)

b-kulignoring the discrepancy in forward and defensive talent lets just look at goaltenders (probably your most valuable player in the post season). quick is one of the best in the league. bryzgolav should be a back up. that should be all you need to know that the kings would destroy the wild.
VinnieFman, Rangers got so so so so lucky. That should have been a sweep. Best of luck for them in LA, but it doesn't look remotely possible for them to win the cup.
