ZimmermanBullshit. Moore's hit was a shoulder, Prust's was a classic Cookie style elbow to the kisser. A little late and a little high, but to equate it to Prust's hit is ludicrous. He should get 1 game.
And I don't agree with basing punishment decisions on post-facto inurjuries (a dangerous hit worth a 10 game suspension can be walked away from safely, and a clean hit can paralyze someone for life) but either way, that's how he league does it and Brassard was hurt and Weiss was not.
They'll definitely give 2 games but that's just because the league loves to pussyfoot with equal punishments as if it were actually more fair.
This being said, perhaps Prust deserved another game. But my point is, they are NOT the same hit, and should not be treated that way.

The reason I'm splitting hairs isn't because I'm a rangers fan but because I'm a hockey player. Anyone else who's been invested in the game can tell the difference between the two hits. It doesn't really matter if he "followed through" with the elbow, for the elbow never hit him high. The follow through was like that because it was a high hard hit. Definitely dirty in that it was a little late and a little high, and deserves punishment, but not equal punishment to Prust's.
That's just my line of argument. He'll get two games 'cause the league is fucked in the head anyway but still. I see you're point of view though, so let's not get heated because that's annoying. Argument for the sake of truth is good though!

The only reason he gets a pass for that game is because hank was just as bad and MTL capitalized off a few beauty goals.
Go review all of those NYR goals, they were weak as shit either he just failed to make a basic save or was way outside of his crease. He let in like 4 goals on 18 shots or something
