Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.
Rangers took ten years off my life tonight. Game 6 was so devastating, I couldn't shake the feeling that they were going to come out and lay another egg tonight. But alas, they were the better team all series and thank god they won.
As for the western conference, LA looking like its got a great shot to win after being down 3-0 and Avs-Wild is going to an 7th game OT. Does sports get better? Nahhhh
yeah conference final rematch of last year for sure. I can see that. strange shits happened with the hawks though. I remember the yotes eliminating them a few years back

The east is up for grabs for sure. MTL/B's series is a toss up, I don't give a shit what kid of hockey expert you think you are there is no predicting that series
I really think the rangers will put the pens away. Hank is just too damn good to give away a game for the rangers and you can always count on flower for giving up one or two games in a series. I just have no confidence in the pens after watching them play the past couple playoff series

I'm not even sad. I'm just absolutely livid with the Sharks. From top to bottom, they played the last four games like horseshit. The coaching was bad, the line choices were bad, the energy wasn't there, they completely abandoned what they did so well in the first three games and half of the fourth. Blame the refs, blame Stoll's hit on Vlasic, blame Niemi, blame TMac, blame whoever you want to, but there is absolutely no excuse for losing 4 in a row in a series when you are up 3-0. Epic failure on so many levels.
...after that, i'm fucking fed up with this. I think I need a break from hockey. Probably all spectator sports in general, being that my baseball team's already 40% of it's opening day starting rotation for the season.
I have about as much faith in seeing a victory parade in my lifetime right now as an atheist has in there being a higher power.
