Kerry Fraser and Stéphane Auger said the call was the good one. I personally thought the goal should have counted, but I'm no referee. Arm-chair refs over the Internet know better though. Especially the ones that are fans from rival teams.

yeah ref game was pretty bad... even as a montreal fan. Stamkos' breakaway who was called offside was part of it too. Wonder how much money did Therrien gave to the refs to win this one.
As for the Habs game, as a completely unbiased point of view, that was an absolute fucking SELL by Price. Practically like the unabashed diving in Italian football matches.
No way should that have been a penalty or a goal taken away... He moved left like he was trying to draw it. That was a totally unrealistic move for someone who was paying attention to the puck.

That's a typical thing at Sharks games. Opposing Goalies get called out hard after rough games. A few years ago when San Jose was playing Colorado in the 1st round, they went up 5-0 on them and the crowd behind Anderson (who was playing for CO at that time) was chanting "anderson suuuucks clap clap clapclapclap" over and over again during the last 10 or so mins of the game.
What the fuck detroit? You can get 3 tickets for $75 to the redwings first home game on tuesday. If you bought them this weekend they were going for as low as $30....
I know detroit isn't exactly the best city nowadays but that is just wrong. I know a couple of guys that have already bought tickets and are using their frequent flyer miles to fly to detroit cause they got great seats for dirt cheap

I actually give smith a ton of credit for doing this. If he took one or two on the jaw from chara and they both got sent off the ice for 5 minutes he would have been a hero on the bench. Definitely not a fair trade off

Nah. People do this all the time regardless. It's actually pretty funny, some years Bettman / the NHL is conspiring to make sure that large American markets are in the finals to maximize profit, other years it's smaller american markets because they want to grow the game's popularity in those markets, and now here we have the NHL desperately trying to keep the last Canadian team in it.
