Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

bruins were playing without their top two points leaders krecji and iginla, lucic was playing on the third line for most of the night, kelly was done after one period, krug was actually playing as a forward and shawn thornton was on actually on the power play unit haha and it still took the wild shootouts to get a win. Not saying the wild didn't play well, but if you think that was a 'solid' team your greatly mistaken and they're gonna have to play a hellllll of a lot better to do anything in the west

I'm not under rating them because I don't know anything about the team. That was the first game I've watched of them all season and I'll admit I know next to zero about the team...but rating the team wasn't my point.
My point was don't get to high on that team thinking they beat a cup favorite boston squad. The team the wild needed a SO to beat was the equivalent of the providence bruins....our fourth line meat stick whose main responsibility is to bash in other guys skulls was on our PP squad that night haha

You're wrong. Huge pet peeve. The streak is older than the Winnipeg Jets franchise because that franchise is the same as the Atlanta Thrashers. The Atlanta Thrashers joined the league in 1999. The previous Jets are still in Phoenix.

What'd you guys think of that hit on Oshie? If it was a 6'2 4th liner, it'd be a big hit, interference at most imo. I kinda can't stand that it's up to the big bug guy do bend over to hit a smaller player. Then if he extends and instead of squatting like he's taking a shit, its called launching. Some responsibility should be on the smaller players to be aware of their surroundings

Little bit of a late hit, considering he didn't have the puck at that point.
Smaller guy vs bigger guy, shoulder hits the chin. Unless they start enforcing cages, or some sort of face protection, I don't see how its going to stop.
Side note- The blues are one of the dirtiest teams in the league, I like Oshie, don't like when players get hurt, but it was nice to see a little pay back.

STOKED the wild clinched that #7 spot, hopefully we can get past first round in the playoffs this year. Went to the Wild/Blues game the other night and was pleasantly surprised by Curry's performance. Sucks to be headed to the playoffs without Harding or Backie, though
pittsburg/detroit would of been a fun first round, like that one cuz fluery can be really good or really bad in the playoffs. but boston is gonna be a fun matchup.

should be a tough one from the west. there's about 5 teams who all have a pretty good chance of being there. but i think teemu is going to have the ducks rallied for one final run.
