I realize Montreal needs this game, but call a goal when it's a goal. That was a goal. Someone post a video of it. Hard to push the opponent player into the goalie when he's behind you.

I understand the hate for lucic, but if any of you say you wouldn't take him on your team you are absolutely retarded. Dude is a straight up force when he wants to play and frequently changes the tide of a game with just one shift. He literally strikes fear into defenders when forechecking. This is Hjalmarsson in game 2 or 3 of the fucking stanley cup finals! He pissed down his leg when he saw the train coming down the tracks, lucic does this on a nightly basis

For me lucic's equivalent is Subban. I fucking hate subban with every bone in my body but oh my god if he was wearing black and gold I'd probably rip a hole in my pants from the massive erection I get. You can hate either guy easily, but their talent is so remarkable that all 30 teams would give up a lot to land either player

Sub an is a great player but he HAS to cut down on those stupid penalties at the absolute worst times. As soon as the playoffs start , and the Habs are in any lead....it's the Subban sabotage. It's stronger then himself, he has to do something retarded.

Yeah what a horrible decision for him. gonna miss a few first round games most likely cause of that.

read an interesting statistic, Sabres need to score about 21 goals in the next 4 games or so to have a 2 goal a game average.

I like the guys intensity but he's hard to like even for a homer fan like me. He's scrappy and all but dude takes a shit penalty at least every other game. That one was definitely more shitty than most.

I honestly have no problem with him sitting a few games at all. I think we play better without him, dude is constantly screwing us with bad penalties and often at the worst possible time.

Good think buffalo can't score a goal to save their life or we could have been in trouble.

Thanks for the two easy points, we need every one we can get at this point.

Hope that you get Anaheim... That's about the best bet you can hope for, and it's the most probable too...

...neutralize Perry or Getzlaf, score 3 goals, and you pretty much win. They are way too one dimensional to make it far in the playoffs as far as I can tell...

San Jose and St. Louis would be scary as fuck either way though.... St. Louis especially.

true, didn't think of it that way. teams are still busting ass with less than 5 games left even though they have clinched spots.

the east is gonna be fun to watch, I think. gonna be really looking forward to that BOS/CBJ series, of course detroit/pittsburghs gonna be a bloodbath, same with NYR/Philly. i think stamkos is gonna go full beastmode on montreal.

Honestly, teams like Philly and New York seem like legit threats back east as well...

I feel like Montreal would have to have Cary Price go all Halak to get the habs through, and Pitt's been playing awful as of late... Boston's a runaway favourite for the POW trophy, but, I definitely see New York or Philly somehow making a good run of it back there...


...that said none besides Boston could easily beat any of the top 6.. maybe 7 western seeds. Why is it that the west is always such a fucking beast in comparison? FUCK.

I've been wondering about this myself. It's entirely understandable that a situation like that might happen over a few seasons but this has been a consistent trend over the years and I just don't understand why it still hasn't balanced itself out.

Especially with all the injuries already in the West. Power players are out, and hopefully will be in by playoffs. (At least for chicago that is.) Whoever wins West is gonna be one hell of a team.

For once I'm much more interested in the East matchups than the West ones. All of the East matchups look good. In the West the only one that really intrigues me is LAK / SJS which should be the best series of the year. I guess CHI / COL could be entertaining but I don't see the Avs putting up much of a fight there.
