Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

i dont see how that isnt interference either. knocking the puck off his stick was a great play, but then in the corner where he body slams him there's no attempt to play the puck at all. he was looking at the player the whole time all tied up with him. the puck could have been on the other side of the ice and he would have done the same thing. he had no idea the puck happened to slide in close to him after he initiated the slam.

I actually didn't think the 1st period was that bad, the rest of the game though I'd agree with you. I was surprised by Therrien's decision to pull Budaj after 2 goals, ya the first one was pretty shitty but other than that he wasn't playing bad.

Exactly...the puck was far gone after he made a nice play, then he "played the body" when the puck was nowhere near, aka interference

He's a huge habs fan too.  Surprised they are letting him on since HNIC is all leafs leafs leafs.  Canada's team is the leafs.  Fuck the habs, sens, jets, oilers, flames, nucks.  Its the leafs, just the leafs and nothing but the leafs.

so scary...raptor jesus will rise again. Apparently he had pre-season surgery for some type of irregular heart beat - no word yet on whether or not that issue is related. Good to hear he's stable.

Might be the end of his playing career. I know of multiple soccer players with similar defects or irregularities who collapsed and nearly died, and at least one who did die on the field.

Similar exertion in hockey, if not more. Could be very dangerous and risky to keep going. Hoping for the best

I was thinking Marc Vivien foe in 2003 who actually died on the field.

Do any other teams have a show that follows their team around similar to HBO's 24/7?

The bruins have a show on NESN called Behind the B - it was slow to start but has been awesome the last couple of episodes. It's shot with the same premise as 24/7 but just focuses on the day to day of the bruins.

The episode last night showed shawn thornton going around asking players if they were going to shave their heads for his/98.5's 7th annual Cuts for Cause and it was hilarious seeing the players interact together. Of course hockey players being the best pro athletes around, every single bruins players except two (rask and eriksson both donated 5k) are shaving their heads to support the foundation

Just curious if other teams have similar programs or if they've been around for a while

That was the fourth best 5v5 ff% output on the season.

The sharks also hold #2 and #1 on that list - Also against Canadian opponents.

Hilariously, the most dominating performance of the season also lead to a Shutout 0-3 by the Oil, despitea 75.9 ff%

I'll never understand how Montreal and Toronto are in a playoff spot despite being outshot, outplayed and out chanced on a nightly basis.

Probably because Eastern Conference.

MTL 25th 47.8 5v5 close
TML 28th 43.1

its sad because these two are the best chance Canada has at a cup in the next 2-3 years.

Going to Montreal tomorrow to watch the Habs vs. Sens on Saturday... Price probably won't be in the net but oh well should be a real good game anyways. Senators gonna lose.

And Ski_the_east01 the canadiens also have a show kind of like that its called 24CH, there are full episodes and then they have like 2 minute previews every week-ish called 24ch flash.
