Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

And now Ottawa has gotten officially nothing for Bishop. What a terrible trade that ended up being. Tampa gets one of the hottest goalies in the league and Ottawa gets a player they end up putting on waivers.

Should have traded Anderson while we could have gotten a great deal for him and kept Bishop.


Do like the Hemsky trade though. He could easily pick things up again being on a new team and might end up being a great linemate for Spezza.

Yes?...granted everyone a year ago was saying it was fake, and I remember seeing something from Luongo himself say on, what I remember being his 'actual' twitter that it was...

Late to the party guys.. Just saw Callahan and picks for St. Louis. Whatttttttt.

He'll probably do great but I have a hard time wrapping my head aroun spending around six million a year on a 38 year old player. As amazing as st Louis is, I can't help but think Tampa got the good end of this.

I guess Callahan didn't want to leave but the no trade clause he wanted was the deal breaker?

Yeah I couldn't believe he didn't get a game misconduct, he was 3rd man in twice...I don't remember who the other flyers player was but there were 3 on erksine at the beginning.

No idea honestly, I swear sometimes he gets blinded by rage or something and just lunges at anything and everything around him. Kids got heart I'll give him that, I like it when he directs it toward the puck more though.

Maybe he was trying to save vinny's face after seeing what happened last time he fought one of the caps.

At least we got the game and there weren't any questionable disallowed goals this time haha.

I watched the Flyers kick the shit out of em last weekend that's for sure. Can't remember the last time we got 4 past the king himself.

We have been pretty hot lately though. Heading to toronto this weekend and hoping for an easy win. Would be nice to keep this playoff spot.

yeah, if i recall correctly lundqvist got very little help that game. hes been playing well, the d has just been hanging him out to dry.

as long as mason doesnt start shitting the bed id be surprised if the flyers dont make the playoffs.

You weren't even close. I find it hard to believe someone that has 'followed and loved a team for as long as they can remember' can be completely oblivious to something as touted as the NHL trade deadline

As if that wasn't bad enough you also seem to think Vanek now plays for the wild....

I don't see Mason really shitting the bed, he's been pretty consistently impressive all year. At least IMO. Not exactly a star goalie but he's been solid for us for sure.

liking this legwand trade a lot. I did like eaves' speed and grit, though. but legwand played great last night despite the loss. hopefully he can make some more great plays tonight.
