Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

Awesome game to go to last night, johnny was an absolute wrecking ball and seemed to have some personal angst towards booth because he absolutely got throttled more than a few times

I was wondering if the team was going to rally around torts just getting back from his suspension and give the bruins a run or if they would just continue to stumble. I was listening to clips of vancouver radio before the game and the media seems to be absolutely fed up with torts and his system but I was curious as to how the players feel. I don't t think vanc played particularly bad they just got beat by a better team, there seemed to be plenty of fight in the team

You guys don't even have very many black bears, much less any browns or grizzlies or kodiaks.

...also bruins are just bitch ass baby bears. Trust me, I have this debate all the time with silly UCLA people. ;)

Henrik Sedin out until after the Olympics. Will not play for Sweden. Mikael Backlund rumored to be the replacement. Quite a step down, although considering Henrik looks like he's playing with a javelin stuck through his side, maybe not that big a step.

The refs in this bruins game are calling some straight up rubbish, finally a good call though, the early whistle was the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Disappointing B's game last night. Linesman clearly saw eriksson get a stick in the face hard enough to lose some chicklets and gush blood everywhere but no call and the blues instead score the first goal.

Other than that playing without Z and starting 4 rookie defense man they performed decently against a legit st. louis team

Also interesting the B's are top 5 teams in scoring in the league averaging 3 goals a game, but they don't have anywhere near a top scorer in the league. The team co-leader Smith with 18 goals is ranked 47 and marchand just scored his 18th last night to tie smith and is ranked 49th...that is pretty much the perfect statistical representation of claude rolling 4 lines

How could you not know. I mean our eagles fans threw snowballs at fucking Santa for gods sake.

Last time I was at a game there was an away team fan(forget what team)that was actually taunting the crowd. Needless to say he was beer showered within about 5 minutes.

Nice win against calgary on saturday. Great to see 4 straight wins and taking 3rd in the metro into the olympic break.

bracing for what could be another wild run to the playoffs. wings gotta get their shit together, henrik will possibly be back in time for the 1st round of the playoffs. but i think a few of the young cats will rise to the occasion and play their hearts out.

their 22 seasons in a row of making it to the playoffs is in jeopardy right now, time for them to play like the wings we all know. they're totally capable of it too. just need jimmy to step his game up and be lights out like he has been before. its been a rough year for them injury wise, and it doesnt help losing a difference maker like zetterberg

hahah always with the positive outlook...hopefully they'll be .500 after tonight

bruins season ticket prices are going up 18-40% next year. they will have more than doubled in price since the bruins won the cup in 2011.

I use to be able to drink at my apartment during hte first period, walk down to the garden at intermission grab a ticket for $15 and watch the remaining 2 periods..not a snowballs chance in hell that happens again in the next decade..fuck

pre-cup or post-cup? I've been looking on stubhub to try and get tickets for an upcoming game - the cheapest SINGLE seats are nose bleeds for $140. Cheapest for a pair of seats together will run you $175 a piece. Decent seats (loge area) are about $260 a piece for a pair
