Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

I don't know. I felt like the Canucks were out of position all night and every time I intently watched, I kept catching uninspired play. I will admit, that I didn't pay the most attention, as.. well.. what was the point.

Honestly, it'd shock you how often those fenwick charts tell the story of a game accurately. Not always, but if you watch the game and look at the chart after, usually you'll think "yeah, that looks pretty much like what happened in that one."

By the way, fuck your Sharks for starting Alex Stalock in a near guaranteed win. Niemi needs dem fantasy points, dammit.

I'm watching it on Gamecentre but that doesn't help you... man, Jack Edwards is the best American play by play guy. I've done a total 360 on the guy, I'll watch Bruins games just to listen to him call them.

The ridiculous over the top homer moments where he laughs at someone for getting hurt or accuses someone of diving because they play for Montreal are totally worth it for the rest of his stuff.

They showed htis highlight during hte b's game last night...I couldn't believe it. I know there have been some great saves this year specifically in the last couple weeks but for me this is absolutely the save of the year

I can totally relate to this. You have the ability to stop 99% of goals you allow which is why it's so frustrating. Pretty much every goal happens because you made some sort of error, usually it's something tiny but as a goalie you know right away where you fucked up and it pisses you off big time

Torts is getting suspended for, my guess, less than 5 games. Glen will coach in those games. Hartley will probably be fined for player selection.

Buffalo's former coach got fined for playing John Scott in that pre-season game against Toronto so they'll probably use that as a precedent.

15 days. well deserved. The $20,000 fine for Hartley I think is a bit BS. His 4th line is playing well and Vancouver had last call on who to put out, so if Torts didn't want a line brawl he could have put out any other line.

Marchand finally back on his game after a pretty bad start to the season. 6 goals in 4 games and getting quite a few short hand bids including this beauty against the kings. The first move on doughty was a beaut

He also drew a real nice tripping penalty at the end of the game against a kings dman which effectively ended the game even though it was 3-2 the kings had to pull quick just to get even.

It was a great matinee to watch yesterday, two teams that were playing real tough and clean just going at one another for 60 minutes...fun game

booo don't be a hater just cause its marchand. The puck was played off the boards clearly and marchand would have been the only one within 15 feet of the puck with an open net. Muzzin pinched but about a second too late and his only play was to take out marchand

No. Cheapest seats you'll get in San Jose are around 35 US$. For the upcoming game against the Hawks they're going for 91+

Flames tickets in the "press level" reaches of the Saddledome are going for 10-15 per seat right now

This is stupid....was watching the Sabres Panthers stream and it was on the Sabres broadcast and the guy switched it to the panthers broadcast......why would anybody want to listen to the panthers broadcast?
