Vancouver tonight. Totally staying up and hitting the bar for the 10pm start over here on this side. Not expecting much but ya just never know. I think we tend to be better on the road. Who knows though after going to a shootout with the oilers.


Did feel fucking great though to win in a shootout against Bryz haha.

Two west coast games, two shootout wins. Really didn't think we were gonna tie that up and go to OT. What an exciting game. See ya next year Vancouver.

Late start again tonight with Calgary, another two points would be awesome but I'm sure the road is taking it's toll.

I've been a big fan of Detroit's goalies. They always seem to have a unique style and seem to be pretty good. Sucks the defense isn't what it was a couple of years ago.

goaltending is something i think kenny holland emphasizes a lot. in the past decade, we've had some pretty solid goaltending. we lucked out completely in '08 with osgood. who is still considered one of the worst goalies ever to win a cup. loved him, though. but yeah, detroit used to play some of the best defensive hockey in my opinion. you didn't want to be on the ice dealing with lidstroms line.

You gotta admit, the Hasek and Osgood combo was pretty awesome. Also Detroit with Legacy was fun too.


Also I think Gustafsin is with the minnesota wild now.

I really dont care anymore, wild have gone 0-6 in the last 6.... I think ill find another team to root for until Yeo gets fired.

What I don't get is there was clearly intent. He was pissed he got knocked in the head and retaliated with a cross check right in the neck. If you don't suspend him how can you justify other suspensions? He absolutely meant to injure
