Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

They haven't beat the Sharks since I was in, I shit you not, 8th grade.

When I was in 8th grade, Chara had just been traded over for Yashin, and Spezza had just been drafted. Sami Salo and Martin Havlat were on the team, and Lalime was the starting netminder.

To put that in ski-terms... the Sens haven't beat San Jose since Tanner Hall was on Rossignol's pro team and Johnny Mosely was still considered to be rad as hell.

2. Yeah that would suck so bad, things finally start looking positive for the islanders and then he goes to a team that's going to win 15 games, not to mention the relationship he had with Tavares.

In all honestly though, how good is Moulson? A lot of his goals ive seen have been sick passes from Tavares, and there's nobody near as good as him on the Sabres.

No no no, he's slow as molasses and a negative possession player.  Should be playing tinordi, beaulieu (my personal choice) or pateryn.  Atleast beaulieu can play the second powerplay wave instead of boullion.

The Avs just traded Steve Downie to Phili for Max Talbot..... interesting. I love'd Downie, he brought some much needed grit to this team. Talbot will bring experience and leadership to this team though so hopefully its a win-win deal.

IMO bad move for the avs, they are doing amazing right now.  Downie was going to be UFA this year as well.  I like Talbot alot too but hes locked up for another 2 years at 2.5 mil. 

Also wheres the news of the Phaneuf resign? I havent been able to find it anywhere.  Emelin is back though, 4 years at 4.1M, would've got more at UFA this summer, I'm satisfied.
