Chicago gets the lockout cup for the summer. Lets start next season off, and hope somebody fucking new wins it, damnit. Summer transactions are up soon, so this should get started fast.

B's were pretty garbage in the first period aside from Kelly netting that filthy penalty shot. They picked up the play towards the end of the 2nd and the 3rd where they were finally able to string a few line changes together

Going to be real interesting when Det comes into the building on Saturday..it will be awesome to watch them much more often this season

All in all great to have hockey back

Oh fuck yes. Can't wait for more OG 6 match ups.

Wings/Canes tonight. The boys looked good against buffalo (but so does every team quite frankly), alfie was quiet but he made some good plays. It's a pretty new and young team in hockeytown right now and I'm lookin up as the season progresses.

So, the Oilers are basically a tire fire. Meanwhile the Sharks are HORRIFYING. Like Jesus Christ that team looks outstanding. If Hertl keeps playing as he is he's a Calder threat, Irwin and Braun look even better than they did last year and Burns must be the most frightening sight to behold barreling down on you off the wing. My pick running away to win the Pacific.

And the Canucks PP just scored one of the prettiest goals you'll ever see.

Not going to get ahead of myself after just two games, but damn if the Sharks haven't looked fantastic to start off this year. Liking the look of the defense.

Hertl just got picked up by every guy in every fantasy league if he wasn't already snagged. Dude is on a level. I'm excited to see how he turns out.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Hertl!


Anyways, Blues are looking solid this year, like really fucking solid finally, I'm stoked! Hopefully they can muster up a win against the Hawks, that'll be a booster. So far 3-0-0 every year against them.

Sharks are always contenders though, just a solid all around team. If they still had Clowe and Murray they'd be one of the scariest teams.

I was over Clowe but that Murray trade still hurts me deep. He was my favorite.


They're always contenders in theory but honestly until they play like this in the playoffs I'll just be waiting for the letdown

True, they'll get it soon enough, hopefully before Marleau calls it quits. It would be nice seeing him get one after all those years.

Personally I think Clowe was a really good fit in their club. Him and Pavelski just ripped together, Blues play them on the 15th. Should be a solid match-up.
