Anyone ever made a jib or turned a tree into a rail in the glades? Is it worth it or is it possible to hike up one day in the summer, find a decent sized sapling, and bend that shit over to make an awesome rainbow rail for next winter?
Yea but they just brought rails into the woods. I want to actually use the trees to make the features.
Beaver Creek and Vail have a bunch too that the park crew set up, but how long do you think it would take to do it myself? Like a 20 foot long rainbow or C-rail.
Stuff like this, you think they bent this in a garage and brought it up or chopped that shit down in the woods and bent it over? How the hell do you find a tree that tall that's only that narrow?
Go to beaver creek in co. They have the most amazing logs. On a snowboard they are a ton of fun. On skis I think things can get a little dicey, but still possible. Rainbow logs are probably a little safe since your edges are up off the wood most of the time due to the arc.
