Regardless of the person or the industry Stealing anything is not ok. Moral ambiguity only comes into play if its to feed ones family or to fight tyranny. Look at any major religion, or any major society....ever. While the penalties for stealing copyrighted material are heinously severe. It is still someones art that they put their heart and soul into, and they should be paid for that.
If you're a fan of ski movies, you probably are an avid skier which means you have the money to pay for it because statistically you come from middle class or above means. you are the "rich" people. (insert random 15-20 year old's response) Yes you are, you have a car that runs and you only go hungry because you blow your money on booze, weed or a season pass which by definition is a luxury.
The exception tends to be the artists who create things because they are constantly investing in creating better art, and when people steal from them they at some point have to quit making real art and whats left is commercialized crap i.e. Michael Bay films. We're all incredibly lucky to have this sport, that is while it lasts until global warming makes it so incredibly expensive and hard to do that we can't anymore. Might as well help each other make a good run of it, so we can enjoy it to the fullest while we can.
