So I was thinking about possibly getting some 12-13 line blends for the upcoming season. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried them out and what you think of them! I like to ski some park, but I do enjoy going elsewhere on the mountain.
They're a very easy ski. Whatever you want to do, they'll make it happen. weakness is ice, and super steeps, but in turn they float rather well for a 100mm ski. There buttery and easy to turn. They dont handle very high speeds well, but there still a very fun ski. Its a great ski to learn new tricks on. They can handle pow/park/ easy all mountain.
the 12/13 has some nose/tail snapping issues, but mostly only for experts/pros who push them to the limit. I wouldnt recommend them for a hot shot skier, there simply too soft for anything big.
thx for the feedback! I'm on the east coast and there's a lot of ice and when im not in the park i love to charge down groomers. I might still consider these for days when we get some snow because i have some all mt. twins that i can use for ripping groomers.
i ride the k2 sights, and although i would agree the chronics are more versatile than the sights, i would think that they are too similar to be worth buying since my sights are still fully functional
Hey I just ordered some 12/13 blends. I want to center mount them. I love messing around on groomers and not really going hard on trails, just butering and ollying of things. I am into park but not hardcore. I want to center them but some people are saying it is a bad idea, is it?
