Please shorten long threads

can we please shorten the longer threads (post your recent purchases) no one ever need to click on page 143 out of 365. Its always just the last page. the one, two skip a few, 99 100 idea would be amazing. such as the long forums on the site http://www.xs650.com/forum/tags.php?tag=bobber.

Agreed, the length of threads really is not charming to NS.

Condensed threads would be so nice. I'd like to have Mousseau check into this. As much as I like PYLP - the thread is such a damn eye sore.

Yeah, although I'm not so sure the solution is that simple. I think it's important to find a way to easily id these long threads

It really shouldn't be on the top...

We have over 400 "urgent" bugs and tweaks that need to be completed -- which is a lot when you consider how complicated of a website NS is.

We actually brainstormed some ideas tonight. We're thinking of adding a . per 50 pages, so something like this ->

I agree, but I'd cut it off after 2 lines of pages so its still easy to see what the seriously long threads are.

This is really tough to implement though, as there are a TON of variables that come into play. Web vs mobile, browser versions, zoom %, thread length, etc.
