it's not even a well written comedy, the characters are stupid, the plot is stupid, and jokes are stale. I've seen it like 5 times and the only funny part is during the street fight. there are much better movies you could spend an hour or 2 watching

The only funny sequels I can think of are the Vacation series and Austin Powers.  Every other sequel has been a waste of time.

I mean you're entitled to your opinion, but anchorman was probably one of the funniest movies that came out in the 00's. Granted, we were all like 15 when it came out, it was very funny, its not suppose to be a well plotted and written movie. And the jokes are stale now, 9 years later but dude when that movie came out the whole movie was very fresh, i mean 2004 come on think about that.

I wouldnt really say I have a favorite modern comedy, fav overal would be monty python and the holy grail. Movies like stepbrothers or Role Models were funny the first few times. Most modern american comedy is pretty stupid. I'd much rather watch good stand up sets

I agree with you on this, not just american comedy, but If I want to laugh I'll watch a comedian doing stand up, if I want to watch a film it's not gonna be a comedy really, with some exceptions.

Although, just watched OP's trailer, looked better than I expected.
