Every time ive had european mcdonalds it tastes so much better than in america. I think its probably because their cows are in better shape from hiking the alps or something. Or maybe its because they use higher grade meat who know. Either way anybody whose had mcdonalds in europe will know what im talking about
In my experience the McD's in Europe doesn't taste any better than McD's in the U.S. or anywhere else. However European McDonalds often have country-specific specials and variations that you would never find in the US.
Also, in Europe McDonalds seems to be much better at locally sourcing materials. For example, McDonald's in Switzerland serves 100% Swiss beef.
This is the only thing I ever get at McDonalds (the few times I go there). I find McDonalds absolutely disgusting, but the McKroket is actually pretty good. I discard the top-bun because it's gross, but if you're drink a McKroket is actually edible.
I'm all about the Doner Kebabs, but I'm not sure ya'll Americans know what that is...
Max is definitely the best place to get fastfood in Sweden, so fresh. Love their "healthier" profile, they have this GI (Glycemic index) menu, where you can get your hamburger without bread (haha you get it in lettuce instead). And yessss, the dressing is so good.
It's pretty sick having McDonalds in Europe. I've had it in 4 or 5 different countries in Europe and they have like 2 level ones in France and Switzerland. The nicest McDonalds I've ever walked into was in Czech Republic, it's such a strange country like it was a mini post war Russia and here stands the nicest McDonalds ever. Plus the they have beer, it's shit but they have beer at McDonalds.
I feel like most of you don't eat good (as far as taste goes) food very often. You're in Austria or Switzerland and you go to McDonalds? Even if it is a filler meal between meals at the local restaurants, don't eat that shit. Go to the local grocer and get some cheese, wine, and bread. It's gonna cost the same and taste so much better. Fast food does not taste good unless you are confusing gluttony and taste.
Fuck White Castle. Their crave cases are the most disgusting shit I've ever eaten. For college orientation we had "challenges" to do, and I participated in splitting a crave case with three other guys and then running laps around a dorm.
I had to eat ten of the soggiest, most disgusting burgers I have ever seen. Their meat is worse than even McDonalds meat. I'm still mystified as to how they make their patties. They were a couple millimeters thick, wet, and tasted like no meat I've ever had (in a bad way).
Touring Europe right now. It taste better cause it taste like home. That's all. Taste the same, just makes you feel like you're eating something familiar.
They certainly aren't easy to make(without pulverizing the meat), trying to cut flaming chunky meat off the kebab while it's spinning is not the easiest/most pleasant endeavour haha.
Very tempted to go get a turkish kebab from down the road though...
Bullshit. I'm 100% confident that I've eaten at more of the best restaurants in the world than any one else that will post in this thread. Right now, I live in a country where the majority of my 'local' restaurants are owned and operated by Michelin star chefs but I still go to McDonalds and I still enjoy it. In fact, just this weekend I enjoyed McDonalds in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Tasted fucking great! Did I enjoy it as much as the $250 steak meal I'd eaten the night before? Probably not. Did it make my feel satisfied? Hell yeah!!
I ate it in London once. It tasted amazing. I think that was only because I was so grateful not to be eating British food for once. Both the English and the Scottish have terrible food.
I live in Europe and I like mcdonalds alright, but when I went to America I had the bad surprise of a filthy disgusting n full of fat people mcdonalds...yeah Europe is defo better for Mcdonalds, more expensive though.
I never eat it in the US, but I've had situations when traveling when I've either had to or been outvoted by others.
Here are three items that I'd eat if they were sold in the US:
Ebi (shrimp) Filet-O available in Japan
McArabia available in the Middle East
Samurai Pork Burger available in Thailand
