I beg to differ, I think theres only a few of us that know about Jiberish's last cyber monday, so I doubt most people will hold out for a sale. theres so many things that I want that I could only afford in a sale

This hoodie design was clearly tailored towards skiers and all the people that prefer their older style. Im not complaining, I just think its a pretty safe observation to make. I really do like the black paisley hoodie though. I think the jcrown should have went on the shoulder sleeve rather then the chest though. It looks a little out of place in my opinion.

This is becoming a problem for me as my entire wardrobe is slowly turning grey. 5 of my 9 jiberish hoodies are grey. that boot knocker though...

We pretty much do a printed pouch/hood piece every season.  German Fleck Camo in the Spring, Lenape style last Winter are examples.  Before than we did the Nerd and others.  This one just happened to be our own custom paisley that we created (it even has J-Crowns in the paisley) and it took quite some time and effort to do so we wanted to use it on the pouch/hood printed piece this year.  But I disagree with it's design being tailored to just one type of buyer.  It looks just as clean in the streets fitted and layered under a jacket as it does on/around the mountain.  

And to those who were surprised to see the J-Crown, it is on a number of pieces every season, we just don't slut it around so it may feel less common.

Between now and the drop we will try to answer questions when we get a free moment.  We certainly appreciate the support we have gotten from NS over the past 8 years.

That is tough to say.  I don't think there will be enough left from this range to offer much if anything for CM unfortunately.  If we have some inventory available at that point, then of course we will do that for you guys, but it is likely that most of these styles will be sold out prior to then.  We have a lot of retailers who have asked to carry the line and we continue to deny them because of how much clothing we make and those denials don't even take CM into account.  It is just based on supply and demand.

We will do something for CM but what pieces will be available and part of that event will be decided later on.  Hope that helps.

I don't think the design is unique or creative, which is what I look for in a Jiberish piece. Its buildings sitting on text. It would have been more aesthetically pleasing if the skyline was integrated with the letter forms.

But then again this is just my opinion, and you know what Jiberish says about people always giving their opinion.

Im not saying they need to make all "Skiing" clothing, hell its never been "skiing" clothing, but I am saying, all those gay hats, and all the bandanna ugly flowery design stuff is just ugly. They can branch out all they want, but year after year they will lose their original buyers who helped grow this company to what it is today. What used to make Jiberish cool, was hoodies that actually fit correctly, with simply cool designs, now its just hipster ugly, tool sell out designs. O well, guess I can save some money this year.

i dont think they want you as a customer if thats how you really feel.

i bought jiberish in '08 and i'll buy it in '13. they wont lose most of their original customers because we are growing up the same time the company is.

Can't quote but the last part is spot on. I'm not an original customer but even I can see that most of the older designs would be something i would definitely wear as a teen but now that I'm a little older these appeal to me more since they aren't skittles colors

I've been buying jiberish since the original line and what I notice when I look at my collection (30+ pieces) I notice that as the years go on they are changing exactly how my lifestyle with my clothes is changing also and I honestly love it I used to wear huge jib hoodies around school and shit and that's cool also but now a large hoodie with a simple but clean design on it is what I'm looking for! But I still feel as if there throwing you guys a few pieces that are closer to the original line and I always buy one of those for skiing! Keep up the good work you won't lose me as a "original customer"

love this about them. i remember my first piece was the oh word cuz i saw tom wallisch wearing it in freeskier back in 08. ive bought pieces every year because they're designs change and develop as my tastes do the same. if jiberish had continued to make the same loud and bright designs that they used to i'd bet they wouldn't be where they are today. keep it up guys i'm stoked for the new drop!

Plus their style is also kinda changing with skiing. When the oh word came out, people were rocking massive bright colored jackets and pants. Now people are wearing more muted colors that fit better and even skinny is getting popular. There is just zero demand for massive skittle sweatshirts, so nobody produces them anymore. Plus Jiberish isn't just for skiers. They have a lot of skateboarders on their team, so they are trying to appeal to all crowds as well as the streetwear market. And they are doing a great job at it. All the flannels/jackets/vests look great now (personally not a huge fan of the hoodies I've seen but I also didn't like the macho/nerd/etc but I'm sure there will be a few I like)
