Because it is a deadstock fabric roll that we had to hunt down, the factory had to move production behind other headwear we are producing for the Fall that had already started. We are shipping it separately from other items free of charge for anyone who buys it though.

The Small Button downs are a tad shorter but mainly slimmer than a Medium. We have not listed the sizing yet online because we need official measurements from the factory. If you need a pic of someone wearing a medium to get a reference email us at infobox@jiberish.com. Let us know your height and weight and we will have someone put one and and get you a pic.

It's all good. If I have time I'm going to make a concerted effort to get questions answered. You guys are our core and original audience and it is important that we carve out some time to help. Medium is the same as listed on the sizing chart on the website. We updated that for summer. It is towards the bottom of the list (not the flannels sizing, the button down sizing). We are reorganizing that though and it will be adjusted with current items at/near the top soon.

Domestic only unfortunately. It is just too expensive to ship anything free internationally for us. The costs have actually been increasing over the past few years too.

Good question.

Realistically they should be priced higher though. It is sweatshirt weight French Terry Cotton, which is pricey. And aside from being made from our own patterns, we also split the front and top stitched it. There is more sewing time that goes into something like this than goes into our basic crewneck sweatshirt or hoodie. Although with this Winter's Hoodies having double folded side ribbing and flatlock stitched seams that won't be the case moving forward.

They will be a little bit more.

We increased the fabric weight and added a number of upgrades. It will be hard to find a better made sweatshirt anywhere. The closest I've seen would be the CYC hoodies and the brands that use them typically retail them for right around $168. We don't want to charge asshole prices though so we won't be doing that.

As we get closer to that release there will be some more info on the hoodies, but based on the response we've gotten from those who have seen them, we are quite pleased. It is gonna be a fun winter.

Absolutely we've thought about it. But a $300 hoodie is a tough sell to our customer base. We'd love to offer that level of product but we also have to consider the fact that most of our customers would never understand why it would cost that much no matter how nice the fabric is it how interesting the process is. I'll never say never though.

We will be shipping this week.

The container arrived in the US on August 4th and we expected it on August 8th at our warehouse. Typically it takes 4 days to go through customs and then arrive on rail in Denver. So we listed mid-August since that gave us a week cushion to ship items, and we'd prefer to have the shipments arrive earlier than expected at your doorstep. It is a nice surprise typically for customers.

Our container was randomly flagged for an X-Ray scan at the Los Angeles port which happens from time to time (but nothing we had ever experienced) to make sure that there is nothing illegal inside of the shipment and to confirm the product descriptions match the actual materials (they do this because cotton has a different import tax than something like technical waterproof fabrics) and some companies try to get away with importing different products than what they claim on customs forms. So this X-Ray scan can add an additional 3-5 days which is another reason we had the 1 week cushion on the delivery dates, just incase something like this comes up.

After the X-Ray the container was quarantined because the agents wanted to do a full scan of the container and this third level inspection requires them to open every box and look through every piece in the container. This we had not only never had happen, we had never even heard of it happening. But this is can and will happen on rare occasions apparently. It took 10 days for them to schedule and then inspect the entire container and make sure that all products and numbers matched our paperwork (which of course they did). All in all, it took more than 2 weeks to have the container approved and loaded onto the rail from the moment it arrived in the US.

Obviously we are disappointed in the delays but unfortunately there was nothing we could do about it. Our paperwork was clean, our products were as described, and we had everything correct. But the government likes to double check these things from time to time and they don't always move with the same urgency that we move.

We are very sorry this has caused our shipping dates to be later than anticipated but we will are told we will receive the shipment on Wednesday and we will have all hands on-deck shipping orders out as quickly as possible from the moment the shipment arrives. We aren't even taking the clothing to the warehouse so we can just open boxes and ship immediately to all pre-orders. Additionally we will have the product in our boutiques this weekend (that official announcement will come later this week). But you guys typically get info from us on NS before others since you are our oldest and most loyal customers.

You can always email us at customerservice@jiberish.com if you have other questions. I am in Asia at the factory checking on Winter and Holiday production, and working on next Summer and Winter clothing. Those who asked about the Winter drop, that will be announced via Email, Twitter, Facebook, and IG as that gets closer, but that is where the hoodies and heavier weight stuff is. Also, you will see some of that stuff on IG this week as we go through those pieces and preview a few for you. Some crazy shit coming out....
