I won't buy it, but the point of my post wasn't to bitch about the price of jiberish sweatshirts, it was to call out jiberish on this one in particular.
I own more jiberish than you can shake a stick at. I've supported them from their third year of production. I've bought $60 and $90 sweatshirts from them, the difference in price was always due to a difference in quality & materials.
These sweatshirts are no different from the $70 screenprinted ones they always sell, they're just $20 more because they have a J crown and not something else (and frankly a screenprinted j crown, at least most of their other cotton pullovers now are embroidered). The point is that it's over their usual price to begin with (which okay... if you don't want it don't buy it) but then to top it off it's released as a blacklist item, a population which is made up of jiberish's most loyal supporters. Why on earth would these be the people they're trying to gouge more money out of if at all, frankly we should just be getting doper sweatershirts at the usual prices... that was the whole point of blacklist to begin with
this is straightup just jiberish not hooking up the people who helped them build the brand in the first place. I'm not asking for a handout or even a discount, just the opportunity to pay normal prices for limited goods as recognition for supporting the brand when it first started
