i either have to race this year, or teach 3-6 year olds how to ski saturday and sunday, and most of the holidays :( they both suck, what do you guys think?

thats what im thinking, i can just skip part of the day and get on my twintips i guess. but my coach this year is the biggest fatass sombitch you'll ever meet. but my other coach is some racecar driver thats new, so it could be good.

just race, it will make you a better skier, and it is pretty fun sometimes too. at least more fun than instructing.

um, i teach, it doesnt suck as bad as you think. and you shouldnt be teaching 3 yr olds on a regular basis, and even 4 yr olds are rare, so stop bitching.

id teach you can make decent bucks, and you dont get called a fag, plus when you do get little kids they love watching you do tricks for them every no and again, you never no you might inspire some lilkid to be the next tanner hall

well, i raced last year (i am fag!) and it got really boring, so im looking for new options, my parents said i can teach, race, or do a winter sport (hate basketball/diving/swimming, so thats out fo the picture). but i have to teach little kids, 3-6 (she said there more 3-5, they just started letting 6 year olds in) and i have to teach saturday-sunday, and i only ski those days, and i only have 1 hour to freeski during the day (last hour, which sucks).

if you only get to freeski 1 hour a day when teaching, you might as well race. youll probaly get more skiing in and you wont have to deal with 3-5 year olds all day. Then again you could probaly learn to like basketball pretty fast if it kept your weekends free for skiing.

Trust me, racing isnt all that great. I used to do it very competitively (went to JO's), and then decided that it wasnt worth the commitment. Teach!!

dude unless you wanna watch all your friends ski by on a suny powder day as your picking up some kid that cant stay up for more than three seconds then i would recommend racing...ive done both

go for the teaching, you can only teach for so long, that will leave time to ski. Racing you have to wear tights and be all uncomfy and you don't have time to free ski.
