it's all in the title

its been 14 fucking great years!!! half of my life
but now it's time for me to move on
i'm quitting the pro mode style cause i'm really over all the bullshit with all the hate and all the fis shit...
i've trying to deal with it helping my sport in anyway i could like trying different style of skiing passing all the exams to be a fis ans afp judge but i got to the point even if i'm trying hard to help it i get nothing back
i'll still be skiing cause i get real compnaies on my back who still beleive in me even if i want to quit. thanks to LINE and SAGA you guys fucking rock
i'll still be around kind of cause i'm a legs of steel for life so you might see me in their movies or at nine knights!!!

but i get to one point where i have to choose a way in my life and where i had turn a page in my life. i wont quit skiing cause it's my life but i need a change i need to free my mind from all the hate all the bullshit and all the thing promise thing that will never happen. i love my sport but i get to the point i love my sport that i have to quit it cause i have so many things to say that it could be bad the sport on some big person in the ski...

i write this cause i have to say it

anyway even if you don't here often of me it will be even less often now i'll still be around but not in the way i was helping the sport before
it'kinda selfish but now i'm just going to think andhaving just for me and ski for my bodies who help me

Can't believe you guys are hatin on LOLO, just because he isn't in love with FIS. About the only this FIS and USSA are good for is taking the "Free" out of Freestyle and Freeride. FIS could screw up a 1 car funeral. I hate the fact that kids now have to pay USSA annual dues to compete.

The good news is that there are so many renegade comps and events that are not USSA/FIS events. I am sure that trend is going to continue.

LOLO, you need to head up some great non USSA/FIS events. Keep the free in freestyle.

Bitch please. I've had the pleasure of meeting Lolo in real life, he speaks pretty much perfect English. He obviously did not take the time to read through his post a couple of times before he posted it. However the incoherent nature of the post is not my main issue, I feel like Lolo had no reason to try and justify "quitting" the FIS/comp side of skiing. His skiing and contributions to skiing over the years speaks for itself. He is a legend, legends don't need to make threads on NS, they're just legendary.

Watching you leave is a crushing blow to the sport and personally to myself. Even though I'm only 14, I've watched you put in so much effort making our sport the way that jossi wells, Phil Casabon and Steve Step get to enjoy it and the way they ski. You've influenced all of us at one point or another and seeing you leave made me tear up just a bit knowing that one of the freshest people out there is leaving the scene. I know how you must feel, watching triples, judging being based on how robotic you are, and the small amount of film pro people that are able to make any money. It makes me sad that this is what our sport has come to, and that people must leave because their influential voice can no longer be hear over all the triples and Olympic hype. I wish you luck in whatever you do in life and keep shredding man. Please don't leave forever I want to be able to watch you in LOS and be hyped as I always am.

Best to Lolo in the future, but I'm just tired of everyone on here grasping at straws to rebel against something just so they can call their freeskiing sport a bit cooler than it is. This is directed at the comments in the thread. Lolo's OP was fine in my opinion as he's earned the right to say it.

At the end of the day, it is skiing. Just go fucking do it. Everyone gets upset over the Olympics, but then they act like skiing is some existential sport with divine powers. It's an addicting action sport that we all love. Everybody takes this shit too seriously by saying "the industry/olympics/comps/park rules/boundary rules/gapers/skiers who aren't edollo/fuckfis ruins our sport" which just makes you look like the one taking it too serious. To the dude above talking about dues to compete, competitions take money to run.

If you all really just wanted to be free and ski go do what the Provo Bros. are doing. Thats something that is about the essence of skiing and being in the mountains. The rest is the "industry" you all love to hate on.
