i like mine a lot. i have had them for two years and they are still in great shape. i have ridden them on a summer set up, a dry slope, and beaten the shit out of them and they are still good. they are stiff when you get them but then they start to soften up. alot of people say skate deck construction skis soak up water and get heavier, but mine havent. you should get them if its a good deal.
I think every pair I have seen (and owned) had delamed at tip and tail. They do also get kinda waterlogged. I mean, i ride my park skis hard, but these things just didn't hold up at all. Lets just say that if you like putting duct tape on your tips, these are the right skis for you!
I've never rode the 2011s but the 2012 and 2013 ones have actual sidewalls which many people prefer. The 2011 Stepups are basically just stiffer afterbangs.
I already own them, the are my first and only pair of skis I've ever owned and so far I like them except for weight is a little heavy, a bit stiff and also chip easily, I just wanted opinions from others but thanks!
